Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. raw rolled oats
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. nuts, minced or possibly peanut butter
- 2/3 c. butter or possibly oil
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. brown syrup
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Put oats in flat pan under broiler to brown. Mix together butter, brown sugar, syrup, beaten egg, vanilla and salt. Beat this mix together. Add in oats, raisins and nuts or possibly peanut butter. Pat out as flat as possible. Bake in 350 degree oven till brown, approximately 20 min. Cut into bars and store. Very good!
