Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tbsp. water

Directions

  1. Mix flour and salt and shortening well. Beat egg; add in water and vinegar. Add in batter mix to first mix and knead well. May be stored in refrigerator. Makes 2 deep-dish pie crusts or possibly 3 (9 inch) pie crusts.
