Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening & 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. molasses
- 3/4 c. water with 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 6 1/2 c. flour (or possibly sufficient to have dough soft yet easy to roll)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Healthy pinch of salt
Directions
- Mix above ingredients then roll on lightly floured surface. Cut desired shape and size. Bake at 350 degrees till soft and cake like.
