Grand Prize Winning Raspberry Wheat Beer Ice Cream (Ok) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 pt whipping cream
  • 1 x Celis raspberry beer
  • 4 x Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. Celis Raspberry Beer

Directions

  1. Hot Lowfat milk to tepid, add in sugar, 12 ounce beer, and salt, stir. Add in 4 Tbs. of lowfat milk mix to the Large eggs and stir light to heat them up. Add in Large eggs to lowfat milk mix. Stir constantly till either the temp. gets to 155F or possibly it coats the back of a spoon. Watch out for egg curdling. Cold in an ice bath for 15 min. pour mix in to the ice cream maker bowl and add in the 4 Tbsp of beer. Stir. process in the maker for at least 30 min or possibly till the paddle is frzn sufficient which the maker won't turn. Turn out and Freeze.
