Ingredients
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp. molasses
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
Directions
- Beat together the shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Add in spices - beat well. Add in flour. Drop on sheets and flatten with sugared glass. Bake at 350 degrees.
