Gorganzola Garlic Bread Recipe

Such a great twist on traditional garlic bread. If you like a lot of filling, you can double the recipe. Double makes enough for a large loaf of french bread and half a batard.

Directions

  1. Cream together the butter and Gorgonzola. If they're soft enough you can do it by hand, if not use a mixer or food processor.
  2. Mix in the garlic and parsley.
  3. Stir in salt and pepper. If you're using salted butter, taste your mixture before adding more, you might not need any.
  4. Slice your bread about 3/4 of the way through into sections.
  5. Hold open the slices and spread the mixture evenly between them.
  6. Top with grated Parmesan.
  7. Wrap in foil and heat in a 400 degree oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until everything is melted and gooey.
