Ingredients: 2 x egg whites; 1 c. sugar; 1 1/4 c. flour; 1/2 c. applesauce; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 1 tsp baking soda; 1 tsp grnd cinnamon; 1/4 tsp grnd cloves; 1/4 tsp grnd allspice; 1/4 tsp nutmeg, grated; 1 pch ginger; 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Ingredients

2 x egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp grnd cinnamon
1/4 tsp grnd cloves
1/4 tsp grnd allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg, grated
1 pch ginger
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, mix the ingredients, in order, one at a time. Stir well after each addition.
Pour batter into a 9 x 9 inch cake pan which's been lightly coated with vegetable oil cooking spray & dusted with flour.
Bake for 30 min.
Frost with your choice of:"Seven Minute Frosting"
"Creamy Caramel Frosting"
"ButterCream Frosting"
"Chocolate ButterCream Frosting"
You can also make cupcakes by pouring batter in prepared muffin tins & baking for 15 min.
