Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce.) can sauerkraut, rinsed & liquid removed
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can mushrooms, liquid removed
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 c. minced onion (2 med.)

Directions

  1. Fry onion and pepper till soft in butter or possibly dill. Add in sauerkraut, tomatoes, mushrooms. Bake in casserole at 350 degrees, covered for 1 hour and for 1/2 hour, uncovered. Or possibly put in crock pot and cook for several hrs. I add in Polish sausage to make it extra good.
