Ingredients

  • 1 can Trappey's whole golden brown yams (1 pound 1 ounce.)
  • 1 can chunk pineapple (15 1/4 ounce.)
  • 3 tbsp. Fleischmann's reg. stick butter
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • Healthy pinch of salt
  • 1 c. orange juice

Directions

  1. Drain yams and pineapple well. Arrange mixed in 1 1/2 qt Pyrex dish, lightly greased with butter. Heat butter in double boiler, add in cornstarch and blend well. Add in orange juice, mix again and add in sugars, salt and ginger. Stir and cook till mix thickens. Pour over yams and pineapple. Cook 15 min, covered and 15 min, uncovered in 350 degree conventional oven.
