Ingredients
- 1 and 1/4 cups of Basmati rice
- 6 green cardamom pods
- 5 whole cloves
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 Tbs coconut or other vegetable oil
- 1 Tbs grated dried unsweetened coconut
- 3 Tbs chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 and 3/4 cups of water...(or you can make this rice as I did using all coconut milk)
- 1 cinnamon stick
