  • Acorn squash, well washed, cut into 1/2 inch thick rings, take seeds out
  • 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. butter

Directions

  1. Steam the squash for 15 min. Place the squash rings in a shallow baking dish. Make a mix of the syrup, spice, water and butter. Heat till almost boiling. Pour over the squash. Bake 30 to 45 min at 350 degrees till squash is glazed.
