Ingredients
- 6 c. strawberries washed and hulled
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 x baked pastry shell (9-in ) whipped cream
Directions
- Mash 2 c. berries. Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add in water and mashed berries. Cook over medium heat, stirring till mix comes to boil. Boil 2 min. Remove from heat. Cold. Fold remaining berries into cooled mix. Pile into pastry shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
