Ingredients
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 c. fresh cranberries, halved
- 1/2 c. sliced dates
- 1/2 c. minced pecans
- Grated rind of one orange
Directions
- Beat Large eggs with sugars till light and foamy. Sift dry ingredients together and blend into egg sugar mix, mixing well. Stir in fruit and nuts. Bake in greased 9 x 9 pan at 350 degrees about 40 min.
- Combine 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar and 1 Tbsp. orange or possibly lemon juice. Brush over hot bars after removing from oven. Cold and cut into bars.
