Ginger Beef Bowl Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 lb sliced sukiyaki beef or possibly any thinly-sliced steak
  • 1 piece ginger root - (1" long) grated
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sake
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds - (to 2 tbspns) Warm steamed rice or possibly shredded lettuce Pickled ginger

Directions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over high heat. Add in beef, a little at a time, to separate slices. Stir-fry till beef loses its red color, 2 min.
  2. Add in ginger and toss to mix. Add in soy sauce and sake and stir-fry till liquid is absorbed, 3 to 5 min. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and toss lightly.
  3. Serve over warm steamed rice in bowl or possibly over bed of shredded lettuce. Sprinkle with pickled ginger to taste.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
