Ginataang Kalabasa at Okra

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc medium onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp ginger strips
  • 400 grams squash, sliced
  • 6 pc okra, sliced
  • 1 pc green chili
  • 1 1/4 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 pouch of Del Monte tomato sauce
  • 150 g medium shrimps, trimmed
  • 1 3/4 cups malunggay leaves

Directions

  1. Saute garlic, onion, ginger in 1 tbsp of oil. Add squash, okra, 3/4 tsp of iodized fine salt (or 3/4 tbsp of rock salt), green chili and coconut milk. Simmer for 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add Del Monte Tomato Sauce and shrimps. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add malunggay leaves and simmer for another 2 minutes.
