German Noodle Ring With Cheese Sauce Recipe

  1. Boil the noodles in salted water and cook about 10 min till tender.
  2. Drain and put into a well-greased ring mold. Heat the butter, add in the flour and blend. Stir in the lowfat milk and continue cooking, stirring constantly till mix thickens. Add in the seasoning and cheese cut in small pcs. Cook till cheese melts. Reserve 1/2 of the sauce to use later. To the remaining sauce, add in the well beaten Large eggs and mix well. Pour over the noodles. Set mold in pan containing warm water and bake at 350-F about 45 min. Unmold on large platter, pour over the remaining warm cheese sauce and fill center with any desired vegetable, such as peas and carrots, spinach or possibly asparagus tips.
