German Beer Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 c. Self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar, rounded
  • 12 ounce Beer, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dillweed, cheese Or possibly Bacon bits (opt)
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1/2 c. Butter, melted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 min. Pour butter over top and bake 10 min more or possibly till brown. Best when eaten hot.
