Ingredients

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 3 x Large eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Salad oil
  • 3 c. Flour, all-purpose
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon, grnd
  • 3 c. Pears, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/4 c. Powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk, to 4 tb.

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, Large eggs, and oil; beat well. Combine flour, soda, and salt; add in to sugar mix, 1 c. at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  2. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and pears.
  3. Spoon batter into a well-greased 10-inch Bundt pan or possibly tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan, and allow to cold; top with powdered sugar glaze.
  4. Powdered sugar glaze: Combine ingredients, blending till smooth.
  5. Yield:about 1 c..
