Ingredients

  • 1 c. Cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 dsh Tabasco sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 2 tsp Finely chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tsp Finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. Finely chopped fresh tarragon (optional)
  • 1 pch Salt (optional)
  • 50 x Toast points, canape toasts, or possibly other crackers
  • 1/2 x Red bell pepper sliced thinly, and cut into 1/2" long pcs

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese with next eight ingredients. Blend well. A hand mixer may be used or possibly a food processor, if you like. Place spread in a pastry bag and pipe onto toast points or possibly crackers. Garnish with bell pepper and any leftover herbs.
  2. Serves 50.
  3. Comments: Mix should be a little hard, not runny, before piping. If necessary, chill till hard.
