  1. Method:1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2 qt baking dish.
  2. 2. Prepare the fruit: stem and wash berries, peel and slice pears and apples, pit and slice peaches, plums, and cherries. Sweeten fruit if you like. Arrange prepared fruit in dish.
  3. 3. In a medium sized bowl, beat egg, sugar, and lowfat milk. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt; mix into egg mix. Stir in vanilla and melted butter or possibly margarine. Blend well. Cover fruit with batter.
  4. 4. Bake for 30 min. Cobbler should be bubbly and lightly browned.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. Makes 2 qt dish cobbler
  7. Never use more than 1 qt of fruit. Only use fresh fruit for this recipe. I usually do use sweetened peaches, but this is optional. Serve hot with cream, ice cream, or possibly whipped cream.
