  • 2 ounce brown sugar
  • 1 large egg (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest (divided)
  • 12 ounce all-purpose flour (plus more as needed)
  • 10 ounce fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon orange liqueur (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk mixed with 1 teaspoon water (as egg wash)
  • turbinado sugar (as needed for sprinkling)
