Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 cups shortening
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Directions

  1. Mix together flour, shortening, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg (to taste) Beat together water, egg and vinegar. Add to flour mixture. Mix well. Mold dough into ball. Chill for one hour.
