Ingredients
- 3/4 lb grnd pork
- 1 can tiny cooked shrimp (4-6 ounce.)
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 4 x green onions (including green part) sliced
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil Sweet and Sour Sauce:
- 1/3 c. cool water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1/3 c. ketchup
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Directions
- Brown the pork in a skillet, drain, and set aside. Rinse liquid from shrimp and drain. In a bowl, mix together the Large eggs, sugar, garlic and pepper. Stir in pork, shrimp, celery, onions and flour. Heat oil on a griddle. Fry up the batter 1/3 c. at a time, like pancakes. Serve with sliced tomatoes and sweet and sour sauce.
- To make sauce, combine ingredients in order given. Heat till thickened.

- Pat Says: I faked this recipe after having tested this in an Asian restaurant in Florida. I couldn't get their recipe, so I created my own close approximation. Very good with stir-fry or possibly skewered veggies. You can also grill the tomato slices if you wish.
