Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar juice from half a lemon
  • 2 x banana, halved, skin on
  • 1/4 tsp grnd ginger or possibly 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 ounce booze, (rum or possibly scotch)

Directions

  1. While someone melts the butter in a frypan over medium heat, halve the bananas, leaving the skin on. Add in the brown sugar and lemon juice to the pan and stir.
  2. Lay the bananas in flesh side down and cook for 3 min. Flip the bananas over and sprinkle with ginger. Cook for 2 more min, then add in the booze. Tilt the pan to let the booze catch a flame and flambe. Serve when the flame has died out.
