Directions

  1. Combine cranberry juice, water, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and lemon peel in sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring till sugar is disolved. Simmer, uncovered, 15 min, strain. Add in wine and lemon juice, heat thoroughly, but Don't BOIL. Sprinkle nutmeg atop each serving, if you like.
