  • 12 slc bread
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese divided
  • 1/2 lb diced ham
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 3/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup - (10 3/4 ounce)

Directions

  1. In a 13- by 9-inch casserole dish, layer 6 slices of bread, 1 c. of cheese, and half of the diced ham. Layer the remaining bread, cheese and ham.
  2. In a small bowl, mix Large eggs, lowfat milk and mustard. Pour lowfat milk mix all over casserole. Pour on cream of mushroom soup. Chill overnight, or possibly at least 8 hrs.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees uncovered for 1 hour 15 min.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
