Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1 lb Elk sirloin
- 1 c. Sliced bell peppers
- 1 x Red onion sliced
- 8 ounce Fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 x Garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Cut the sirloin into strips. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a skillet, add in garlic, soy sauce, onion, and elk. Saute/fry till browned. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer, covered till vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Steamed wild rice, scallop potatoes, fresh green salad are excellent compliments for this entree.
- Comments: I have found this recipe the best for cooking elk or possibly venison. The peppers seem to take away all unwanted wild taste.
