Ingredients

  • 1cup (5 oz) whole-fat eggnog
  • 1 1/2 cups (7 oz) all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz/1 stick) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (7 oz) white granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp bourbon
  • For the Glazed Icing:
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons rum, brandy, or bourbon
  • Nutmeg to garnish top
