Ingredients: 2/3 c. (1 1/3 sticks) butter softened; 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar; 1/2 c. lowfat milk; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 1/2 c. flour; 1 teaspoon baking soda; 1 teaspoon cream of tartar; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 2 1/2 c. uncooked quick oats; Raisins or possibly nuts or possibly dates to suit taste

1/2 c. lowfat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 c. uncooked quick oats
Raisins or possibly nuts or possibly dates to suit taste

Directions

Mix well. Chill. Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 9 min in 375 degree oven.
