Ingredients
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 teaspoon cocoa in 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. pear preserves
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 3 1/2 c. flour, do not make batter too thin or possibly cake will fall
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into greased and floured cake pans and bake till done.
