Ingredients
- 2 c. Sugar
- 2 c. -Water
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 2 c. Raisins
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Cloves, grnd

- Into a saucepan, measure sugar, water, shortening and raisins. Boil for 4 min. Cold. Sift together and add in remaining ingredeints. Bake at 350F for 40 min.
