  1. In a 4-c. glass measure heat the butter in a microwave oven on high for 45-60 seconds. Add in the bread crumbs, apple, raisins, onion, sage, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Toss to mix. Add in 1 Tbsp. cider to moisten. Arrange 4 chops in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Spoon the apple mix over each chop. Place the remaining chops atop stuffing. Combine gravy mix with the remaining cider; brush over chops. Micro-cook, covered, on medium high 14-18 min or possibly till chops are tender. To serve, transfer chops to a platter. Serves 4.
