Ingredients

  • 1 cup of shredded fresh cabbage ( or 1 8 oz bag of preshredded coleslaw cabbage)
  • 1 large boiling potato (cubed)
  • 1 curry leaf (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/2 cup of green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 Tbs vegetable oil (I use coconut oil)
  • 1 large tomato fresh or 1 16 oz can of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri chili
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
