Ingredients
- 2 lb stew meat, cut into 1/2" cubes
- 2 x onions, cut in lengths
- 2 can stewed tomatoes, #2 cans
- 3 stalk celery, cut diagonally
- 6 x carrots, quartered
- 6 x potaotes, quartered
- 1 can consomme
- 1/3 c. minute tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. sugar, optional
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
- Beat stew tomatoes with a beater.
- Combine all ingredients in a large casserole dish. Cover and bake at 300 or possibly 325 degrees for 3 1/2 hrs or possibly more if needed.
