Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon (fried) reserve grease
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 pound grated cheese
  • 3/4 warm jalapeno pepper

Directions

  1. Mix together all ingredients in order given including reserved grease from bacon. Pour into 13 x 9 inch baking pan (greased). Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 min.
