Ingredients
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon, grnd
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. minced nuts (optional)
- 1 can pie filling (apple, cherry, peach, etc.)
Directions
- Beat together all ingredients except fruit. When mixed stir in can of fruit with its syrup. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking dish or possibly pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 min. Cold. If you like, frost with canned frosting or possibly sprinkle powdered sugar on top of "fruitie" cake. It's an easy family project.
