Ingredients

  • Easy Fruit and Grain Energy Bars
  • (adapted from The Cabot Creamery Cookbook)
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup chopped dried fruit (I use cranberries and cherries or prunes and apricots)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup flax seed meal
  • 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 1 5-6 ounce container vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
