  • 8 ounce bulk breakfast sausage cooked, liquid removed, and crumbled
  • 4 lrg Large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 pkt tortilla chips coarsely crumbled
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 16 ounce Ortega salsa - homestyle recipe (mild)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine sausage, Large eggs and green onions in medium bowl.
  3. Pour butter in medium baking dish; add in sausage mix. Top with chips; sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 min or possibly till Large eggs are set and cheese is melted; top with salsa.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
