Ingredients

  • 1 x Tube large refrigerator biscuits, (Such as Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk Biscuits) (10.8-oz)
  • 1 Tbsp. Plus 1/2 c. chilled whipping cream
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 x Basket strawberries, hulled (1-pint)
  • 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Place 2 biscuits on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with 1 Tbsp. cream; sprinkle with 1 Tbsp. sugar. Bake till golden brown, about 14 min. Cold 5 min.
  2. Place half of berries in bowl. Add in remaining 2 Tbsp. sugar; crush berries with fork. Slice remaining berries; add in to bowl. Fold in lemon juice. Whip remaining 1/2 c. cream to soft peaks.
  3. Slice hot biscuits in half horizontally. Place bottoms on plates. Spoon most of berry mix over, dividing equally. Cover with tops. Top with cream and remaining berries.
  4. 2 Servings; can be doubled.
