Drinking Custard

Ingredients

  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or possibly nutmeg or possibly 1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring

Directions

  1. Beat Large eggs till well blended. Heat lowfat milk, sugar and salt in large thick pan, stirring constantly. Remove from heat when just ready to boil. Pour warm lowfat milk over beaten Large eggs, slowly. Then return mix to stove, stirring constantly. Cold slowly till white skum comes on spoon. Remove from heat and pour into pitcher. Add in flavoring.
