  • 1 pkt SNACK CAKE MIX, (see recipe)
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/3 c. Veg oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. Semisweet mini-chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. Nuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In an ungreased 8 or possibly 9 inch square baking pan,combine SNACK CAKE MIX and cocoa pwdr. In a medium bow, combine water, egg, veg oil and vanilla. Beat with afork to blend. Stir into cocoa mix till smooth and bleended. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts proportionately over top of batter. Bake 35 to 45 min in preheated oven till surface springs back when touched with your fingers.
  2. VARIATION: BUMPY ROAD SNACK CAKE- omit cocoa pwdr and substitute buttermilk for water.
