Ingredients

  • 3 whole chicken breasts, split
  • 1 Bermuda onion, cut into 6 slices
  • 1 env. (1 1/2 ounce.) spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes

Directions

  1. Brown chicken breast in a large non-stick skillet; arrange in single layer in an 8-oz shallow casserole. Top each breast with an onion slice. Blend spaghetti sauce mix into drippings in skillet; stir in tomatoes.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Spoon around chicken breast and onions. Cover casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour or possibly till chicken is tender. Makes 6 servings (117 calories each).
