1 box devil's food cake mix
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 T water
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. minced nuts
Powdered sugar

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix cake mix, large eggs, water and shortening till well blended. Stir in nuts. Shape into small balls, then roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 min. Makes about 48 cookies.
