Ingredients
- 8 whl wheat buns, split
- 2 c. TVP granules or possibly flakes
- 1 3/4 c. Boiling water
- 6 ounce Can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. Vegetable stock or possibly water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp Red warm pepper sauce
Directions
- Stir the TVP into the sauce, adding a little more liquid if needed to make it spreadable. Place buns on a cookie sheet. Spread with TVP mix and run under a pre-heated broiler, cooking 4 to 5 min till topping is bubbly. Be sure to spread mix to the edges so the buns do not burn. PER
