Deviled Round Steak

  • 2 pound top round steak
  • 1 onion, cut into pcs
  • 1 c. stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 c. water
  • Paprika and salt to taste


  1. Cut meat into serving size pcs and brown in a mix of flour, salt and pepper. Make a sauce of the above ingredients, pour over meat, cover, and simmer for at least 1 hour till meat is tender. Good served with rice or possibly potatoes. Serves 6.
