Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 1/2 x onions, diced
  • 1/8 tsp garlic, granulated
  • 2 cups bread crumbs, fresh
  • 2/3 cup cool water
  • 1/8 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 cup parsley, minced
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Soak bread crumbs in cool water and set aside.
  2. Saute/fry diced onion till tender.
  3. Set aside and allow to cold.
  4. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine grnd beef, grnd pork, onions, granulated garlic, and bread crumbs mixed with water.
  5. Mix well and add in remaining ingredients.
  6. Mix well and mold into loaves. form in either loaf pans or possibly a meat pan with sides high sufficient to hold juices.
  7. Bake for 45 min to 1 hour.
