Deer Meatball Soup Recipe

Name: Deer Meatball Soup
Ingredients: 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. deer burger (with suet); 1 or possibly 2 jalapeno peppers (minced fine); 2 tbsp. minced onion; 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr; 1/4 c. catsup; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1/2 teaspoon black pepper; 1 tbsp. minced parsley; 2 Large eggs (slightly beaten); 2 slices dry bread crumbs; 3 tbsp. bacon grease; 1 pkg. Au Jus mix; 6 c. water

Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lbs. deer burger (with suet)
1 or possibly 2 jalapeno peppers (minced fine)
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tbsp. minced parsley
2 Large eggs (slightly beaten)
2 slices dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp. bacon grease
1 pkg. Au Jus mix
6 c. water

Directions

In a bowl mix all ingredients except bacon grease, Au Jus mix and water. Shape into small meatballs. Brown meatballs in bacon grease.
In a pan, over medium heat, stir Au Jus mix into water till dissolved. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add in meatballs and simmer (uncovered) for 45 min.
