Ingredients

  • 2 lb Fresh Halibut or possibly Cod
  • 1 c. All Purpose Flour
  • 1 x Egg Slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper Vegetable Oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil (2 to 3 inches) in deep-fat fryer or possibly kettle to 375 degrees or possibly heat oil (1 1/2 to 2 inches) in skillet till warm. If fish fillets are large, cut into 10 to 12 serving pcs. Mix four, salt and pepper (or possibly spices). Mix egg and lowfat milk and beat well. Coat fish with flour mix; dip into Large eggs and lowfat milk, then coat with bread crumbs. Prepare 4 to 6 pcs at a time. Fry in deep-fat fryer or possibly skillet till golden, about 3 to 4 min.
  2. NOTES : 1/2 Tsp. "Fish Spice" and 1/2 Tsp. "Essence" can be substituted for the salt and pepper in this recipe.
