Deep Fried Dill Pickle Spears with Onion Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 t each:
  • dried dill weed, garlic powder
  • smokey paprika, salt and
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 T dill pickle juice
  • 12 dill pickle spears, chilled
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
  • Mix all ingredients together,
  • except pickles
  • Dip pickles into batter
  • Fry battered pickles in hot oil
  • until golden brown
  • Serve with Onion Dip~
  • 1 oz package Cugino's Dipz Onion Wonion
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 heaping tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Cream cream cheese
  • Blend in sour cream,
  • mayonnaise and
  • package of Onion Wonion Dipz Mix
