Ingredients

  • Deep Fried Cheese Curds~
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 t sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 t baking powder
  • Heat 3-4 inches of oil
  • In a deep, heavy-duty
  • Cast iron skillet
  • Until 375 degrees
  • In a medium bowl
  • Combine egg, 1 T oil and beer
  • Whisk together
  • Stir together flour, sugar,
  • Salt and baking powder
  • Add to egg/beer mixture
  • Mix until smooth
  • Drop cheese curds into batter
  • Using a fork, toss to coat
  • Drop a few curds at a time into hot oil
  • Fry for a few minutes or
